The Central West Careers Advisers Association (CWCAA) represents Career Education and Careers Advisers in Government, Catholic and Independent Schools in the Central West region of New South Wales, as well as other Career Development Practitioners working in associated fields.
CWCAA promotes career education as a vital part of schooling and supports the work of Careers Advisers in assisting young people in making decisions about work, study and training.
Careers Advisers are qualified secondary teachers who have undertaken an approved course of study in careers education.
Careers Advisers provide information, guidance and advice to help students explore their education and career options, create a resume, search for jobs, apply for jobs and/or apply for further study. Careers Advisers liaise with parents, teachers, employers, community agencies and training providers.
The Central West Careers Advisers Association (CWCAA) is an unincorporated entity. We are registered as CENTRAL WESTERN CAREERS (ABN: 93110251551) as a Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC) and endorsed as GST and Income Tax Exempt with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
